The Hastasoft HTML editor is for purists and users who prefer full control over the HTML pages they create. You’ll primarily work in a powerful source editor. It comes with sample templates that create attractive homepages entirely without JavaScript but using modern HTML 5 (this will give your site a higher security rating and potentially improve its search engine rankings).
Markdown support: You can also create your texts in Markdown format; the file will be automatically converted to HTML format.
However, you always have your page in view, be it in the split view or the preview in a separate window . Here is a screenshot of the split view (press F5 to refresh the view at any time, and press F6 to display it in a browser of your choice)
On the left side is the navigation area, where several main sections and subsections are available (such as a list of homepages and files from the currently edited web page). The "Current Page" tab has several subtabs for "Navigation" (list of objects on the current page). A list for inserting HTML snippets, a list of CSS snippets, a list of suggestions for page design errors or improvements, etc.
In the center is the editor area, where you edit your HTML or CSS text. The editor provides extensive features for editing, searching and replacing, and navigating within the document. From the editor, you can display specific elements in the HTML page view, and conversely, you can jump from the HTML page view to the corresponding location in the HTML text.
