An idea suggested by community members: Define complex rebar spacing using a single formula and fixed, variable, or proportional values. Revit automatically places the remaining spacing and reports multiple spacings for more accurate documentation.
– Longitudinal bars based on transverse reinforcing bars
Generate longitudinal reinforcement directly from transverse rebar. Longitudinal bars adopt the properties of stirrups, transition curves, or multi-segment shapes and are automatically updated when the transverse geometry changes. The new method can be used for both infrastructure structures (bridges, tunnels) and standard building elements.
– Longitudinal joining of reinforcing bars of arbitrary shape
Improved splicing capabilities for free-form longitudinal reinforcement bars, improving the efficiency of detailing reinforcement bars for bridges and tunnels.

Community suggestion: Rebar mass is now automatically calculated and displayed in bar properties, specifications, and markings.
