Description: Humans are long gone. Who could live in a world plagued by drought and toxic waste? Perhaps lumberjack beavers? A sandbox construction simulator with inventive animals, vertical architecture, water physics, and terraforming. And lots of wood.

"Then they dragged a veteran to us, practically with medals for capturing Shipka…" So, here it is. Despite five years of development, this is essentially a repeat of Settlers, only with beavers instead of gnomes, or whatever it is running around. The player controls where to build and what to build, and even lays roads. And the beaver citizens decide for themselves what to do. Some tasks can be eliminated for optimization. If you’re hoping to start with a single beaver damming a stream, then building a nest in the resulting pond, finding a female beaver, making more beavers, and so on, you’ve made a huge mistake with the game. There’s no realism here; we start with some fantasy building (gnomes will come up more than once). The beavers are adept at dividing labor; they require road construction, farming, construction, and resource extraction. So, what beavers have to do with it remains to be seen. Then again, someone probably considers Tarkov a shooter.

Humanity has turned Earth into a dry wasteland and is a thing of the past, but some species have adapted and evolved. Choose one of the beaver factions and see how long your colony can survive.
Beaver Society
Control one of two beaver factions: the caring Tails of Peace or the hardworking Iron Teeth. Each faction has its own unique buildings, technologies, and features. Choose the one that suits your playstyle!
Rainy, dry and poisonous seasons
Prepare your settlement for periods of drought and waves of toxic waste. Stockpile food and maintain fields and forests even after rivers dry up. Rely on both natural water sources and artificial irrigation to keep the land arable and beavers safe.
Water Physics and Terraforming
Beavers are master builders. With 3D water physics and terraforming in Timberborn, you too can create incredible engineering marvels. Build dams and sluices, construct massive aqueducts, dig canals, and tunnels using explosives-shape the landscape to your liking.
"Vertical" architecture
Take advantage of vertical construction. Space is limited, so stack houses and workshops on top of each other, build platforms and bridges, develop a power system, and construct ziplines or pipe tunnels for your beavers to move swiftly.
Bobropunk
Transform wood into complex machinery, from water wheels and sawmills to engines and mechanized pumps. Wood is the primary resource in Timberborn, but the most complex constructions require metal. To find it, send your scavengers to explore the ruins of the old world.
Automation
Automate your settlement by creating complex systems of sensors, relays, meters, and other tools for advanced engineers. Fully automated dams and factories are just the beginning.
Boots
Strengthen your colony with mechanized beavers. Provide them with power and perform scheduled maintenance, and you’ll have super-efficient workers capable of handling virtually any task. They work around the clock and can be deployed to the most dangerous areas.
Well-being
Build a large city with efficient production chains and monitor the lives of its inhabitants day and night. As your population grows, provide your evolved rodents with a balanced diet, entertainment, decorations, and build monuments, thereby helping to restore the Earth.
Map editor and modifications
Play on one of the existing maps or create your own and share it with the community. In addition to the built-in map editor, Timberborn offers official mod support. A wealth of original content and add-ons are available to make the game more engaging and diverse, and more are being added every day.
